Marriage & Families

This is the process of counselling the married husband and wife including the family members in coping from any distress and spiritual attacks. Marriage is an important issue to God and in Christian living.

The Lord God said “It is no good for the man to be alone .I will make a helper suitable for him'. In Gen 2:18, 21-24, here we see the first wedding. We can conclude from this account in Genesis that marriage is God's idea, designed and instituted by the creator. In these verses we also discover that in the heart of God's design for marriage is companionship and intimacy.

Individual

The bible says Satan is our adversary, the thief that came to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10). The Enemy is the cause of all sorrow, heartache, bitterness and violence. He is behind the ungodly activities and destructive elements we see around the world today. Devils cause people to lose control and commit all shameful acts .But they know they must submit to the name Jesus Christ (Mark 1:21 - 28) .People are set free from evil spirits and demonic bondages, in Jesus Name!!!!

Men & Women's Ministry

The Men and Women meet with their own gender on a weekly and monthly basis the men and both ministries work together ,to strengthen their family.We understand that men and women have families and realize that working together can make each ministry within itself stronger.

Being a woman has its unique challenges..Being a woman of God has a unique call.The women's Ministry of Harvest for Christ family Church Marikana exist to teach ,train and model what the biblical role of a woman is in her home,church and world .We seek to experience together as women what it means to be unique image-bearers of God

Our Men's ministry is rooted in God's plan from creation:God created man in his own image,in the image of God he created him male and female he created them (Gen 1:27).God's glory reflects itself in many ways in creation .Manhood is one of those we are convinced that the recovery of biblical manhood is essential for the the greater glory of God in individual lives , in marriages ,in families,in society and to the ends of the earth .

Women meet every Thursday at Harvest for Christ Family Church Marikana .

Men meet every month in different places between Marikana and Mooinooi 

Marriage Seminars

A Christian marriage seminar can be a wonderful way to strengthen your marriage. Even if you feel that it is on the right track, the communication can be improved. Adding your faith to your marriage is a great way to make it better than it was before.There are many passages in the Bible that you can make a part of your marriage. Studies show that a couple with the same level of devotion to their faith is less likely to experience many of the common problems with the average marriage. You are not going to be preached to in a Christian marriage seminar. Instead, you will be with other couples that share the same faith.It is something that occurs on a monthly basis or a quarterly. The program can be very different, so you will want to look at the specifics. For most of these marriage seminars, you do not have to be a member of the church where it is being held in order to participate. There may be a cost for materials, but usually these costs are very low. Wait! It's not too late! Youth's Ministry

(Mathew 28:18-20)’’And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and I am with you always, even unto the end of   the world. Amen’’

HFCFC young adults are a dynamic group that consist of single young people from the age of 22 years upwards in the church. This group of young adults meets at least once a month with Pastor M.A Malokane as He gives teachings that are to prepare them to be grounded young people who understands and pursue with impact their dreams in the society.

The teachings help them to know their positions in Christ and also the get to lead by example to the younger group by a life pleasing to God. The most important thing is that this group does not only learn but they have fun at it. They go on trips at least every three month to learn from each other, braai and have time just to relax.Their mission is to build a community where young adults are encouraged to develop their fullest potential in the body of Christ through unity.

Youth ministry -1Peter5:5-6 “in the same way, you who are young be subject to the elders. And all of you clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because God opposes the proud but gives grace to the 
humble. 5:6 And God will exalt you in due time, if you humble yourselves under his mighty hand’’

The youth are young teenage believers who are passionate about the greater purpose of fulfilling the Christ mandate  in our generation. The youth construct this through Home cell groups, Youth service (Every Sunday at 16H30), youth outings and school visits. We love people and rejoice when young people accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and saviour. You young person, come and join us for a great time as a young person in the Lord.

Supporting the needy

Another Ministry is the humanitarian arm of HFCFC Marikana which is headed by Pastor M.A Malokane. The ministry is committed to catering to the needs of orphans and the destitute within the church. The ministry provides basic school needs to orphans and children of the underprivileged, with educational support given from primary to tertiary levels.

Remember, knowing God is not only seeing His works, but learning His way. Therefore, we should let love be uppermost in our hearts because all our doings without love are nothing.
